I have a new favorite cookbook, Guilt Free Cooking by Taste of Home (available from Borders and Amazon).
I picked it up shortly before New Years, finding it on accident when perusing healthy cookbooks in Borders while my husband looked for a smoker manual for my father’s birthday. I rarely ever buy actual cookbooks anymore, because there are so many great free sites available online. But, as I sat cross-legged on the floor of Borders flipping through pages, I really liked what I saw, particularly as I started calculating Weight Watchers points values for some of the best looking recipes.
We have made at least a half dozen recipes from this book so far, and all have been excellent. Hubby and the kids concur. Hopefully, I will get around to blogging those.
But, in the meantime, if you are looking for healthy tasty and mostly easy recipes, give this cookbook a try! You will find it a great resource for everything from quick weeknight dinners to make-ahead meals to company-worthy dishes.
